Artists Unite for Nature

By Vanda Cummins

We've created this page because we want to help protect nature and our planet!

I'm inspired by the work of WWF-Australia, so I wanted to raise money to help the cause!

We are artists united in our love of nature, we have come together to proudly support WWF-Australia's Koala conservation work.

Bushfires, deforestation, and climate change are pushing our most iconic species - and the incredible landscapes they call home - to the brink. Koalas are losing their homes. Our oceans are under threat, with marine life struggling to survive in polluted waters. Entire ecosystems are collapsing under the pressure of a rapidly changing climate.

But we can change this - with your help.🐨🌿By donating to our page you’re not just supporting artists, you’re helping to restore habitats, protect endangered species, and create a healthier planet for future generations.

The challenge is big. But so is our hope. Let’s turn heartbreak into action. Help me raise funds for a future where wildlife thrives, forests grow, and oceans are full of life.

Thank you so much!

Koalas at risk: a global artist collaboration for conservation

Monday 4th May

Found exercising their natural ‘licence to chill’ in trees all up and down the east coast of Australia, the is arguably Australia's most iconic and beloved animal.

This project brings together artists from the Loki Loves community, Wild Horizons, and ABUN (Artists & Biologists Unite for Nature) to support the World Wide Fund for Nature-Australia (WWF) and their work protecting koalas and their habitat.

Koalas are instantly recognisable, yet their future is uncertain. Habitat loss, fragmentation, climate impacts, and disease continue to place increasing pressure on populations across the east coast.

Through art, storytelling, and shared awareness, this collaboration aims to support the vital work being done by World Wide Fund for Nature-Australia (WWF) to protect and restore koala habitat.

Every contribution helps raise awareness and supports real conservation outcomes. Thank you so much for your support in donations, comments and sharing this fundraiser.

Creating on Country

Monday 4th May

I’d like to acknowledge the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, waters, and skies where I am today.

I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and emerging, and extend that respect to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and recognise their continuing connection to land, sea, and sky.

As we come together to create, I recognise that every line, every mark, and every story we share sits within a much deeper story of Country. One that has been cared for, observed, and expressed for tens of thousands of years.

I acknowledge the deep and continuing connection to Country, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

Thank you to my sponsors for helping to save the planet!
