60 Years of Love — Give Wildlife a Future
For my mum's 60th birthday on March 10th, I'm raising money for WWF-Australia instead of gifts.
Australia's wildlife is under sustained pressure. Bushfires, deforestation, and climate change have already pushed koalas, quolls, and hundreds of other species toward the edge. Marine ecosystems are degrading. Habitats that took thousands of years to form are being lost within a generation.
WWF-Australia funds on-the-ground conservation — habitat restoration, species recovery programs, and policy work that creates lasting protection for the places and animals that define this country.
My mum has always cared about leaving things better than she found them. Donating here is the best way to mark that.

Sixty Years. One Number. Wild Ambition.
Thursday 5th MarMy mum turns 60 this year, and she wants nothing. No presents, no fuss — she's that kind of person.
So instead of a gift she'd politely insist you shouldn't have bought, we're doing something that actually matters. We're raising $1,966 for WWF — one dollar for every year since she was born.
1966. The year England won the World Cup, the first soft landing on the moon, and — more importantly — the year the world got her.
Sixty years on, the planet she grew up on is under pressure in ways that would've been hard to imagine back then. Habitat loss, species decline, ecosystems unravelling faster than we can track. WWF works at the scale those problems demand — conservation on the ground, policy at the top, science in between.
$1,966 isn't a round number by accident. It's her year. It felt right.
If you were going to spend money on a card, a bottle of wine, or something wrapped in paper she'd feel guilty about — put it here instead. Every dollar goes directly to WWF's conservation work.
